It’s hard to walk through Wright State’s campus these days. Half of campus seems like a construction zone.
In fact, several major building projects are underway, including a $23 million redo of its Creative Arts Center, a new $14 million Student Success Center and Classroom Building, a $37 million Neuroscience Engineering Collaboration building and a $5 million cafeteria and multipurpose common building.
About 700 to 800 students will pass through the new classroom building per hour, Sudkamp said, but the focus of the building will be small, interactive classroom spaces. The 220-seat lecture hall there is designed with tiered seating so even students there can easily break into groups.
