WSU to stage part one of Dickens’ ‘Barnaby Rudge’

Part one of theater faculty member Bruce Cromer’s stage adaptation of the Charles Dickens novel “Barnaby Rudge” will premiere at 8 p.m. Friday, with performances at 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2-5, in the Wright State University Creative Arts Center.

Cromer, head of acting for WSU, is also directing a cast of 14 performers playing 30 roles.

Part two of the production will be presented on the same stage — in the downstairs Herbst Theatre — in 2012.
