Third graders through eighth grade students from around Raider Country laced up their sneakers to learn basketball skills and have some fun with Wright State men’s basketball players and coaches.
The camp took place in the McLin Gym in the Wright State University Nutter Center from June 5 to June 8. The camp provided each hoopster individual instruction for his position, while allowing for numerous fun competitions.
“It’s important for our players to understand how important they are to those kids and really how they act is going to influence these children,” said Scott Nagy, head coach of the men’s basketball team.
Wright State will host a second day camp from June 26 to June 29 for students entering third through eighth grades.
