The Wright State University Raj Soin College of Business recently hosted guidance counselors from 15 high schools from around Raider Country. The purpose of the visit was to present information about the programs and partnerships offered to business students at Wright State.
“It was really interesting to hear about the partnerships with some of the businesses that the School of Business works with and the opportunities that the kids have,” said Katie Fulk, a guidance counselor from Archbishop Alter High School in Kettering.
Speedway and Reynolds & Reynolds presented information to the group about their relationships with the college along with two current students.
This was the first time the business school hosted guidance counselors from area schools. “We are trying to grow this effort to try to work with people that have information that students rely on,” said Thomas Traynor, the interim dean of the Raj Soin College of Business.
