During an appearance on “Living Dayton,” President Sue Edwards explained how 12 students can win full in-state tuition scholarships to Wright State University by participating in the Big Hoopla STEM Challenge.
The annual STEM Challenge, championed by Wright State University, will take place on Sunday, March 16, from noon to 5 p.m. in Wright State’s Student Union.
Students can register for the event at daytonhoopla.com/hoopla-stem-challenge.
Wright State will award full in-state tuition scholarships to winners of the basketball shootout: a male and female student in each grade division (K–2, 3–4, 5–6 and 7–8). Four additional winners will be randomly selected through a raffle.
Students must complete 80% of the STEM passport to be eligible for a Wright State scholarship.
Wright State will also host the Big Hoopla 4-Miler walk/run on March 16. The race, which begins and ends at Wright State’s Student Union, will tour the Dayton Campus.
