FAIRBORN — More than 1,800 middle and high schoolers, representing 70 schools and 10 states all went for the gold Saturday.
Wright State University hosted a science olympiad inviting bright middle and high school students to face off in biology, chemistry, earth science, astronomy, engineering, physics and technology competitions. Students competed in 46 events ranging from tests in forensics or experimental design to building balsa wood towers or robotic arms.
