Wright State University hosted in-person and virtual Fall Career Fairs for current students and alumni on Oct. 12.
Participating students and alumni had opportunities to meet in-person with 55 employers recruiting for internships, co-ops and career positions from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Student Union Apollo Room.
“Our employers have been very enthusiastic about meeting students and alumni in-person,” said Debra Wilburn, associate director of Career Services.
“We really hope to develop the relationship with Wright State,” said Chris Watt, a job recruiter from Fischer Homes.
The virtual Career Fair followed the in-person session from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
“Virtually is also good,” said Conrad Bannerman, a graduate student studying business and attended the in-person Career Fair. “All of the people that I’ve spoken to are kind of welcoming and they’re looking forward to finding the best fit for their company.”
Wright State Career Services hosted the Career Fairs. Employers interested in future Career Fair recruiting should email career_services@wright.edu.
