In February, the Office of Career Services presented the workshop How to Connect During Recruiting Days in the Student Union Endeavor Room.
Defense and construction contractors, a college consortium, a computer cabling manufacturer and agencies that help children and families will be among employers sifting for future employees at Wright State University.
Career Services is gearing up for the upcoming semi-annual Recruiting Days. At this event, students and alumni will meet with regional employers to discuss co-op, internship or career opportunities.
“These events really are a great opportunity for our students and alumni to network with potential employers,” said Stephanie Spencer, assistant director of Career Services.
Recruiting Days kicks off on Wednesday, March 13, from 1 to 4:00 p.m. with Public Service and Creative Careers Recruiting Day, focusing on career choices in government, social action, health care and the communication/entertainment industry.
Recruiting Days will continue Thursday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to noon with STEM Recruiting Day focusing on career choices in science, technology, engineering and math.
Recruiting Days will continue that day from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. with Business Recruiting Day. This event will host employers offering opportunities in the business sector, including accounting/finance, human resources, management, sales, marketing and logistics.
