A Wright State University graduate was named chief scientist at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center and will be a primary advisor to the military commander at the secretive agency.
Curtis A. Rowland, a 32-year veteran at the intelligence agency, was selected by Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James, according to NASIC. His appointment was effective Sept. 25.
Rowland, of Fairborn, is one of seven senior-level civilian executive positions equivalent to a one-star brigadier general at the intelligence center, the agency said. He will be a chief adviser to NASIC commander Col. Leah Lauderback.
