Now a senior at Wright State and still living in Cincinnati, Diallo plans to use her language skills to help other students.
“I’m a future teacher in the making, so understanding all these languages will help me be more empathetic to students who don’t speak English because I know the struggle, I know how hard it is,” she said.
Diallo said she would like to teach English as a second language, social studies, and language arts after she graduates. But she’s still not done developing her own language skills.
