Wright State University’s second annual Veterans Ball attracted 165 veteran students, community members and guests for a night of food, camaraderie and dancing.
Fifty-two of the attendees were Wright State veteran students.
Held Oct. 3 in the Apollo Room in the Student Union, the Veterans Ball was sponsored by 21 different organizations and companies.
The event’s creator Jonathan Granata said the ball allowed business leaders to interact with student veterans as well as get involved with the Wright State Veteran and Military Center.
Organizers hope for an even bigger event next year.
