The Enterprise Holdings Foundation has donated $3,000 to support student success and career development initiatives at Wright State University.
“We are so grateful to the Enterprise Holdings Foundation for this generous gift,” said Mary Jean Henry, director of foundation and corporate relations at Wright State. “The Enterprise Holdings Foundation’s support will help our students envision future career paths and get on the right track for a successful career after graduation.”
“We are happy to support Wright State students through this gift from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation,” said Jake Osborne, talent acquisition specialist for Enterprise Holdings. “One of Enterprise’s founding values is to strengthen our communities, one neighborhood at a time.”
The Enterprise Holdings Foundation is the charitable arm of Enterprise Holdings, which, through its regional subsidiaries, operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands.
The $3,000 gift will be used to support activities in the Wright State Career Center and the Center for Liberal Arts Student Success (CLASS).
The Wright State Career Center provides resources to help students engage in self-discovery, explore majors and careers, build experience and develop their professional skills. The Career Center also connects employers with Wright State students for co-op, internship and career opportunities.
CLASS enables students to make important connections between their liberal arts education and their futures as productive, working professionals. Incorporating academic advising, tutoring, scholarships, internships, workshops, alumni networks, career development and job placement strategies, CLASS promotes student retention, success and workforce development.
