Wright State University is merging some departments into a new school of public and international affairs.
The school announced Friday morning it will take elements of its departments of political science, urban affairs and geography under the new unit, which will be a central place for students interested in public policy, politics, law and governance at the local, state and federal levels into a school of public and international affairs, or SPIA. The school will also include Wright State’s new master of public administration program.
