Fox 45’s Adam Aaro talks with Wright State graduate student Haldey Drodge about her project to piece together stories lost in history. Drodge has been combing through everything from pictures to 19th century Bibles, left behind by slaves who came to the Miami Valley from Virginia in one of the largest emancipations in history. The artifacts will be on display inside the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center in Wilberforce in an exhibit she created.
