Wright State University President David R. Hopkins visited with Mark Schlemmer on local AM radio station 980 WONE recently. The two talked about many college sports issues including the Ohio State situation, the BCS, “one-and-done” basketball, why the University of Dayton and Wright State don’t play basketball anymore and much more.
Hopkins, who was recently elected to a four-year term on the 18-member NCAA Division I Board of Directors—the most powerful governing body in D-I–and to the seven-member presidential advisory group, responded to callers and discussed sports for about an hour.
