For the 12th consecutive year, Wright State University’s ArtsGala delivered an exciting evening for hundreds of arts lovers Saturday night. The night was again highlighted by the work of the students, which proved to be awe-inspiring for many in attendance. Snappy song and dance performances in the main auditorium from Anything Goes punctuated an evening filled with spirited performances from the Wright State wind symphony and chamber orchestra, among others. Stirring selections from the student film festival and outstanding artwork from students, faculty and alumni were also on display.
- Guests packed the Wright State Creative Arts Center for ArtsGala 2011.
- Over the years, the event has raised more than $1 million for student scholarships.
- During the gala, fine arts students showed off their talents.
- Guests feasted on culinary delights in five dining halls.
- Wright State President David R. Hopkins and his wife, Angelia, welcomed arts patron Benjamin Schuster (center).
- The 12th annual ArtsGala was sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts.

- For the past 10 years, the departments of Art and Art History; Music; Theatre, Dance and Motion Pictures have been centers of undergraduate excellence and artistic collaboration in the region. Individually and collectively, these departments have impacted the creative climate of an area already recognized for its vibrant artistic activities.
