Declaring the pilot stage of their collaboration successful, Clark State Community College and Wright State University are expanding a program.
The Gateway Program, a project to facilitate transfer students from Clark State to Wright State through academic support services, enrolled its first 29 students during the 2012–2013 school year.
Now that the pilot is complete, the schools now plan to grow the program by 10 to 12 students each semester, said Thomas Sudkamp, associate provost for undergraduate studies and the University College at Wright State.
