Wright State University students were able to learn about the university’s numerous student organizations and clubs at the Involvement Fair, hosted by the Student Government Association on Jan. 28 in the Student Union Atrium.
Over 40 student organizations, including several fraternities and sororities, participated in the fair.
“The beautiful part about getting involved with an organization is that as soon as you walk in the door you already know you share a common thing with all of those individuals,” said Jonathan Ciero, Student Government president and event organizer.
Ciero said getting involved with a campus organization or club is the best way students can enjoy their time on campus, and involved students are more likely to graduate.
“Any student that gets involved is going to do really well in school,” he said.
Christina Reisinger, a senior public health major, said her the coed service fraternity has made her time at Wright State worthwhile.
“Without Alpha Phi Omega I wouldn’t have met most of my friends,” she said.
Students who want to get involved with or learn more about the nearly 200 registered student organizations at Wright State should visit Engage.
