C-SPAN campaign bus comes to WSU

Students and residents can learn about the presidential race and campaign issues when the C-SPAN Campaign 2012 bus arrives at Wright State University Friday afternoon.

With 32 days left until the election, the stop at the university is part of a five-day tour around the state aimed at college students to educate them about the political process and issues in the upcoming election and offer them a chance to record their views on video. Recorded student responses to questions about candidates and issues will be posted on C-SPAN social media sites.

Wright State University student organizers said the C-SPAN bus stop on campus is an important part of educating students using non-partisan unbiased resources.

“A lot of the students on campus don’t know the intricacy of the issues,” said Spenser Brannon, the Wright State University student government chief of staff. “We don’t care who you vote for as long as you make an informed vote.”
