Now that the weather is warmer you and your family are likely spending a lot more time outdoors. That makes now the perfect time to talk about taking care of your skin.
Wright State’s Department of Dermatology is offering skin cancer screenings the week of May 12–16 at several locations throughout the region. Morning and afternoon appointments will be available.
The free skin cancer screenings are offered annually in May as part of Melanoma/Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month to promote early detection and teach prevention of skin cancer. The free screenings are sponsored by the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Department of Dermatology and Wright State Physicians Dermatology, along with the American Academy of Dermatology, Eucerin, Good Samaritan Hospital, Miami Valley Hospital, Premier Health and Upper Valley Medical Center.
