Eddie McClintock ’91, star of the Syfy series “Warehouse 13,” served as master of ceremonies for the gala event formally announcing Wright State’s $150 million campaign.
Rise. Shine. The Campaign for Wright State University was formally announced by President David R. Hopkins on Oct. 18 before 600 students, faculty, staff, donors and other special guests at the Wright State University Nutter Center.
The $150 million fundraising campaign promises to further elevate Wright State’s prominence by expanding scholarships, attracting more top-flight faculty and supporting construction of state-of-the-art facilities.
Serving as master of ceremonies at the gala was 1991 Wright State graduate Eddie McClintock, who most recently starred in the popular Syfy series “Warehouse 13.”
The campaign is co-chaired by Hollywood icon Tom Hanks and Amanda Wright Lane, great grandniece of university namesakes Wilbur and Orville Wright.
