For the ninth consecutive year, Wright State University students, faculty and staff made “Cards for Kids” for patients at Dayton Children’s Hospital on Nov. 5 in the Educational Resource Center.
“It’s something that may provide a smile or a brief moment of joy, and that’s something that I think is really cool,” said MBA student Ben Webb.
Dozens of volunteers made hand-designed cards during the lunch hour event, which was sponsored by We Serve U.
Organizers estimate that thousands of cards have been donated to Dayton Children’s Hospital over the past eight years. Cards are distributed to patients during their meals at Dayton Children’s.
