Students, faculty, staff and guests sat together for a special dinner designed to create a discussion about the diversity of Wright State and how to ensure inclusion and justice for all.
At the Longest Table, a dozen tables were joined together along with conversation starters at each of the 100 chairs. The event took place Feb. 11 in the Student Union Apollo Room.
“It’s all about community and to embrace each other’s differences,” said Hannah Pigg, one of the organizers of the event.
Participants were asked to bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the university’s Friendship Food Pantry.
This was the second year for the event.
