Wright State University honored more than 1,600 graduating students during its spring commencement ceremonies.
The university held a commencement ceremony for its graduate programs on April 28 and for its undergraduate programs on April 29 in the Wright State Nutter Center.
Graduates in the spring class of 2023 earned 1,111 bachelor’s degrees, 476 master’s degrees, 16 doctoral degrees and 33 associate degrees.
Graduating students ranged in age from 18 to 65. The class included 251 international students from 21 different nations.
Wright State awarded Sarah Hackenbracht an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters during the April 29 ceremony. Hackenbracht, who earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wright State in 2003, is the president and CEO of the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association.
